I have been a clinical supervisor since 2012, and an LPC-Supervisor with the Texas State Board since 2015. My theoretical approach to counseling is largely based in Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In accordance with state regulations, supervision usually entails alternating individual and group weekly meetings.
Both in my teaching background and in my clinical experience, I have thoroughly enjoyed the cyclical process of having and being a mentor. I find the process of helping other therapists develop and hone their clinical skills and flourish is highly rewarding. As a certified hypnotherapist, I am also able to incorporate supervising the practice of hypnosis in clinical settings.
